Absolutely Scandalous was accidentally formed in 2003 when four people sharing a love of satire, music, cabaret and the spoken word mistakenly thought they would be able to simultaneously amuse and educate the masses through their sheer wit. Performances at the Energex Brisbane Festival, Woodford Folk Festival, Yag'ubi Multicultural Festival, various university campuses, conference dinners and parties, the MAD ASS Folk Club, and on ABC Radio National and ABC Local Radio have failed to shatter this delusion. Together they satirise the rich, the powerful and the plain stupid.
